Player Recruiting Experience Survey

I am in the process of writing a recruiting guide book for our players that I also plan on turning into an eBook. I am in the process of collecting 30 College Coaches responses to a different survey specific to them. I am looking to get to twenty current college players on this survey. Please keep this between you and I until it is published hopefully in the first week of July. You can give us the choice of being anonymous or being named in the finished product.

The questions below are in regards to your current school. If you have been in the transfer portal or at a second school, feel free to describe both.

Question #1: Who showed interest first, who contacted who first? *

Question #2: Did they see you play in person before or after first contact? *

Question #3: Did they see you play while recruiting someone else, either a teammate or an opposing player? *

Question #4: How often did you write an email to them? *

Question #5: What role, if any, did your highlight reel play in their interest in you? *

Question #6: Did you attend an ID Camp of theirs? Was it before or after first contact? Before or After them seeing you in person? *

Question #7: When was your official visit? What year of HS were you in? *

Question #8: How many schools were narrowed down in your "Final Decision?" *

Question #9: What do you remember from the first phone call with a member from the coaching staff? Any tips for our players? *

Question #10: Did your youth soccer club assist you in landing this school? If Yes, please explain in what ways. *

Any advice to give? Tips/Tricks? Did social media help? Any bad experiences with other schools? *
